The Misadventure is getting back on the road and heading South of the Border.
We made the decision to park the van for the Holiday Season in order to earn some extra cash and spend some quality time with the family.
This means we filled up on holiday treats and champagne and even got some amazing powder days in. It was pretty easy to get used to using a full kitchen and real showers and to not having to put our shoes on to go to the bathroom. But the open road is calling our names and we are ready for a new year full of new adventures. Not to mention that we are so ready to thaw out on the beach after framing houses in the snow.
We earned enough to keep the gas tanks full plus the fish tacos and beer flowing for at least a little while. But… per usual we played too hard and procrastinated planning the next leg of our trip and have spent the last few days frantically doing last minute research. Not to mention we haven’t even started moving shit back into the van.
So for anyone out there who has some last minute pieces of advice for Baja travel we are all ears. We are always looking for recommendations for the best campsites and places to get delicious tacos. But besides those… tips on finding clean water and whether or not we need to pick up a cooler for extra food storage are also much appreciated!!
In the meantime check out our latest vlogs for our adventures down the West Coast. And wish us luck pulling the trailer out of the snowy driveway… We could be stuck until spring.
Thanks in advance for any advice!
Can’t wait to bring you guys along for the next part of the adventure!
We are upping our vlogging game as well and you’re not going to want to miss us trying out our very minimal Spanish skills. So be sure to subscribe and share!!
